Prepping for Chilly Landscapes in my home studio earlier this week and for next Saturday morning @Artycat Francis Iles, Rochester.











Great start to the series of five Saturday mornings, lovely group.







today delivered this painting for final judging for the Jon Bird Open Competition at The Fishslab Gallery, Whitstable. The final judging is 7:00pm on October 19th. The artworks will be up until Monday 21st afternoon and are for sale.
*UPDATE wasn’t placed but a really encouraging evening, great work in many different media and huge crowd there .

In addition to weekday workshops held in my home studio, on 5 Saturdays mornings in October/November (see below for dates and subjects) I will be doing workshops at Artycat @ Francis Iles – 104 High Street Rochester ME1 1JT.
They will be £20 per session with up to 8 attendees and will run from 10am to 12:30pm. If you would like to attend one or more of these sessions please contact the shop to pay (not me) on 01634 843881 or pop down to the store. Payment must be made upfront to secure your place. All materials and refreshments will be provided.

Beautiful morning here in Whitstable and last night we finished setting up. If you come to Whitstable by train you’ll walk right by us so do pop in to say hello. It’s going to be a good week of late August weather.












It’s been such an exciting, encouraging, energising week. I’ve sold quite a bit of work (thank you those who bought cards and paintings). I’ve met and chatted to such interesting people this week. It’s such a worthwhile week in which to participate. I really hope #MOSAF goes on from strength to strength.
