Jackie Trinder is an artist and tutor based in Rochester, Kent. She trained in Fine Art at Gloucestershire College of Art & Design and Goldsmiths College, London.
She has had a lifetime of teaching in secondary schools both Independent and State. Jackie is now concentrating on her own practice and runs art workshops for adults.
She works in watercolour, in mixed media and in oils. She has exhibited in solo exhibitions throughout Kent and has contributed to group exhibitions.
Inspiration is drawn from visual experience, from imagination and from memory. She is captivated by the many effects in the different media, the transparency and light of watercolour, the textures and glazes of acrylics and the depth and richness of oil paint.
