Fancy a day out at the seaside? My artist daughter, Victoria, and I have an exhibition at The York Street Gallery, Ramsgate, down by the pretty harbour. It is on for one sunny (I hope) week . We’re putting it up mid-day on Wednesday August 30th and taking it down the following Wednesday. All welcome to browse…or buy. As well as my framed work I’ll also have mounted, some unmounted, pieces as well as greetings cards of the paintings for sale.

Two exhibitions coming up starting next week. There will be framed work on sale as well as blank cards and pieces that are mounted, unmounted and unframed.

FOR YOUR DIARIES!
Work in progress, finishing off things, experimenting a bit with acrylics and developing a small commission (although I’m not doing any at the moment…)
Acrylic with sand, moss, seaweed and a shell, still working on it bring it on then taking it right back. I really need some ‘messing about’ time.
Clay: a beautiful day , perfect for sorting out the clay, not sure what we’ll be doing with it yet though.
prepping for tonight’s workshop over in Gravesend, the Friday Art Group.

Painting to a Jean Haines DVD with my daughter at a hundred miles an hour , so fast we actually squealed trying to keep up
